As part of special technical awareness sessions for COMEX 2007, the Information Technology Authority (ITA) conducted a seminar on Operational Excellence in association with Microsoft, Oman on the 28th March 2007 at the Crown Plaza hotel. The seminar was attended by public sector IT experts and technicians and consisted of four technology presentations from Microsoft:
