Based on the competencies of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology under Royal Decree No. (2020/90) and Oman’s commitments as a member of the International Telecommunication Union, the Ministry has prepared this document to provide guiding principles for protecting children on the Internet for stakeholders, including policymakers concerned with child rights in the Sultanate, parents, educators and caregivers, and ICT service providers in the Sultanate.
