The digital industry sector is responsible for developing communications and information technology sector in the Sultanate of Oman, through design and implementation of initiatives and programs that contribute to building national capacities, empowering tech and startup companies, stimulating investment, and enhancing innovation and digital entrepreneurship. It works on developing a sustainable digital environment that supports the growth of the digital economy, through the implementation of qualification and training programs, the development of the technical companies ecosystem, attracting quality investments, supporting advanced technologies and artificial intelligence, as well as enhancing local and international partnerships, contributing to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040 and establishing the Sultanate of Oman as a regional hub for digital industry and innovation.
