Project Overview
The Deep Tech Initiative is program led by the Ministry of Transport, Communications & Information Technology (MTCIT) designed to accelerate the development and commercialization of advanced technology startups in Oman. The initiative supports innovators working in artificial intelligence, IoT, robotics, and other deep‑technology domains through structured technical development, mentorship, and market-readiness support.
Current Status – 2025
The initiative is in the vendor and startup evaluation phase, finalizing work orders, budgets, and implementation plans for Phase 2, where vendors will provide technical development, commercialization support, and mentorship.

Startup Selection & Evaluation – structured technical, financial, and go-to-market assessment.

Mentorship & Capacity Building – deep‑tech expert guidance and workshops.
Ecosystem Engagement – participation in events such as LEAP and COMEX.
Performance Tracking – regular reviews to ensure alignment and measurable outcomes.
