Investment in Oman’s logistics and communications sectors is projected to reach approximately 3.4 billion Omani Riyals, driven by strong performance indicators including the handling of more than 143 million tons of goods and over 200,000 passengers through Omani ports. This growth is supported by advanced digital transformation initiatives achieving an 85% performance rate and the simplification of 100% of priority services, alongside major infrastructure developments such as road expansion projects and the establishment of a hydrogen production facility. The strategy further emphasizes strengthening local content and enhancing support for small and medium enterprises, particularly within technology-related sectors, to ensure sustainable and inclusive economic growth.
