Argut–Sarfeet Road Paving Project (Dhofar Governorate)

The paving of the 13.5 km road has been completed, linking the Wilayat of Salalah with the Wilayats of Rakhyut and Dhalkut in the western part of the governorate, reaching the Sarfeet border crossing with the sisterly Republic of Yemen. The new road alignment between Argut and Sarfeet passes through a previously rugged mountainous area to meet road safety requirements and prevent rockfalls.
This project contributes to supporting economic, tourism, commercial, and social development.
