What is the Sandboxes Ecosystem initiative?
It is a project aimed at building a comprehensive ecosystem for sandboxes in the Sultanate of Oman, with the goal of stimulating innovation and encouraging companies to develop new applications and products to create economically viable sector-specific solutions.
This will be achieved through four main stages:
Launching an awareness-raising, and informative program for targeted government entities.
Applying quick wins success stories.
Developing frameworks, standards, and monitoring compliance for sandboxes.
Identifying and monitoring the most in-demand requests and targeting economic sectors to initiate the sandboxes.

What are the existing sandboxes in Oman today?
Sandboxes have been launched to promote new technologies entering the local market through a testing phase under specific conditions and requirements. The following are existing sandboxes in the Sultanate of Oman:
Through the sandbox Ecosystem Initiative, we aim to promote economic growth and social prosperity in the Sultanate of Oman by fostering collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders.
