This regulation updates the national security framework for ships and port facilities in Oman, aligning with Maritime Law No. 19/2023 and the ISPS Code. It requires ports and vessels to implement integrated security plans, conduct risk assessments, and comply with inspection regimes. The law also empowers MTCIT to license private security service providers and impose administrative penalties for non-compliance.
