Middle East Space Conference 2026 Agreements
The Middle East Space Conference 2026 will be held in the Sultanate of Oman from 26 to 28 January 2026, under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Kamil bin Fahd Al Said, with the participation of a distinguished group of experts, specialists, and decision-makers from regional and international space sector organizations.
The conference aims to explore the future of the space sector in the region, focusing on leading transformation efforts, expanding satellite applications, and enhancing space capabilities. It also highlights innovation and international cooperation to support the sustainable growth of the space sector in the Middle East.
Signed Agreements
The conference witnessed the signing of several strategic agreements that reflect the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships and developing the space ecosystem, key agreements include:
- Signing of the Artemis Accords between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America.
- Signing of a cooperation agreement between Omantel, OQ Gas Networks, and ETCO.
- Signing of a cooperation agreement with Open Cosmos.
- Signing of a cooperation agreement between Oman Lens and ETCO.
- Signing of a cooperation agreement between ETCO and Sohar University.
These agreements reaffirm Oman’s dedication to building impactful partnerships, advancing national capabilities, fostering innovation, and strengthening its position as a leading regional hub in the space sector.
