The Oman Cloud Computing Policy adopts a cloud-first approach to accelerate digital transformation and support the objectives of Oman Vision 2040. It requires government entities, except security and military agencies, to prioritize cloud-based solutions and work with licensed cloud service providers while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and risk management requirements and emphasizes continuous compliance and periodic review to improve the efficiency of government digital services.
