Startup Ecosystem Development Initiative is a set of programs and initiatives aim to improve startup ecosystem in Oman through a specific methodology that measures performance development.

Bringing Oman's Startup Ecosystem Together

 The OSH Platform is a knowledge-based platform that aims to connect technology startups in the Sultanate of Oman with support entities, investors, mentors, and various stakeholders within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The platform provides an integrated environment for communication, collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise, contributing to the growth of startups and the development of Oman’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The platform also enables supporting entities and institutions to gain a comprehensive view of the ecosystem through an integrated database containing information and details about startups, as well as related activities and events. OSH serves as a unified gateway through which entrepreneurs, innovators, and supporters can embark on their journey toward greater opportunities for growth and innovation.

2.Heatmap Startup Ecosystem

The heatmap is a strategic tool for assessing the efficiency of the startup ecosystem in Oman. It reveals the challenges, opportunities, and key initiatives that contribute to strengthening the ecosystem and meeting the needs of entrepreneurs and the supportive environment. The map focuses on the various stages of startup growth, highlighting the development of support programs and services, with the aim of integrating efforts among stakeholders and fostering the ecosystem's sustainable development.

  1. To state of the startup ecosystem and identify development opportunities and key challenges that need to be addressed.
  2. To clarify roles and responsibilities and align efforts among relevant stakeholders to provide and implement programs and initiatives that strengthen the startup ecosystem.
  3. To periodically monitor the latest developments and updates within the startup ecosystem.
