The Sultanate of Oman is keen on transforming into a sustainable knowledge society by activating information and communication technology. The Sultanate achieved second place globally in the e-services index, launched 153 e-services, and thwarted more than 2.6 million attacks on government systems. Various training programs were implemented, applications were developed to assist business owners, and the government launched digital transformation projects, including the use of technologies such as artificial intelligence. Cybersecurity has been enhanced through the establishment of a regional cooperation center in this field and the provision of security services. Governance efforts include developing standards and consulting services for government entities, facilitating projects through new infrastructure, and enhancing knowledge awareness through media campaigns. It relies on improving procedures and measuring customer satisfaction.
