The Government Digital Transformation Programme Annual Report 2024 presents Oman’s progress under the Tahawul Programme (2021–2025), aligned with Oman Vision 2040, highlighting tangible improvements in government efficiency, service quality, and user experience. In 2024, government entities completed nearly 27 million digital transactions, achieved 77% average beneficiary satisfaction, and reached 73% cumulative programme performance, supported by large-scale simplification and digitalisation of services and expanded use of shared platforms, mobile applications, and national digital infrastructure. The report documents Oman’s advancement in international digital government rankings, growth in automated and proactive services, stronger data integration through national platforms, and increased readiness and maturity across government entities. It also emphasises capacity building, policy development, innovation initiatives, and cross-entity collaboration as key drivers toward a user-centric, efficient, and future-ready digital government.
