The annual report of the National Digital Transformation Program (Tahawul) for 2025 highlights the successful completion of its first five-year phase, marking a shift from policy design to full-scale institutional implementation. The program digitized 2,277 services and permits, increased beneficiary satisfaction to 78%, and significantly expanded national data integration. Led by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, partnerships with the private sector were strengthened, allocating over OMR 15 million to SMEs. Government entities achieved an 85% digital excellence performance rate, alongside launching key centralized platforms such as Gov.om and Tajawob. The report also reflects Oman’s improved international rankings and strong readiness in cybersecurity and digital government.
