Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology Accredits Three New Companies in Managed Security Services
The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has accredited three new companies under the “Accreditation Program for IT Service Providers” in the field of managed security services (SOC). The accredited companies are Al-Anqa Technology Solutions (Securado), Al-Tabassor Information Security (Insight), and Project and Services Management Technology (Promatas).
The “Accreditation Program for IT Service Providers” is a comprehensive initiative aimed at strengthening the contribution of the information technology sector to the gross domestic product (GDP), enhancing the governance of private IT companies, and ensuring their technical capabilities and national commitments. The program sets national technical and administrative standards that service providers must meet to be accredited.
In addition, the program seeks to stimulate market competition, create employment opportunities, and equip Omani talent with the skills required to deliver professional services locally and internationally.
The Accreditation Program targets all IT service providers in the Sultanate of Oman who wish to offer their services to government entities.
