Next Week: Launch of the Global Technology Exhibition “COMEX 2025”

In a move aimed at highlighting the technology sector in the Sultanate of Oman, the 34th editionof the Global Technology Exhibition “COMEX 2025” will open its doors next week under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs. The event is organized by Al-Dar Al-Arabiya for Data Analytics in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and in partnership with Oman Tourism Promotion Identity, Oman Air, Visit Oman, and the Oman IT Society. The exhibition will take place at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from 8–11 September 2025.
COMEX serves as a leading annual platform that brings together the latest global innovations in technology and digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies, alongside showcasing pioneering national projects in Oman, reflecting the strategic direction toward building a sustainable digital economy. The exhibition will attract a distinguished mix of global, regional, and local companies, entrepreneurs, innovators, and technology enthusiasts, aiming to exchange expertise and present smart solutions that reinforce Oman’s position as a regional hub for digital innovation.
COMEX 2025 will feature key sections, including the e-Government Pavilion, Business Pavilion, Tech Startups Pavilion, Banking, FinTech and Insurance Pavilion, eSports and Gaming Section, and the International Delegations Pavilion. The event will also host a range of accompanying activities, including the COMEX Awards, COMEX Summit, specialized workshops, the VIP Council, interactive experiences, eSports competitions, and the COMEX Hackathon, in addition to providing visitors with the opportunity to explore the latest technology products and services.
COMEX 2025 represents a major milestone for investors in the technology sector, facilitating connections between tech startups and investment opportunities, as well as attracting international partnerships that advance the digital transformation journey in the Sultanate of Oman.
