The Communication and Media Department at the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology won the award for the Best Initiative in Digital Community Engagement. The award was presented during the ministry's ceremony announcing the winners of the second edition of the Digital Excellence Award in the government sector 2025, as part of the "Together We Advance" forum in its fourth edition.
The digital community participation initiative by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology was represented by a digital platform that enables the community to contribute to the design and development of government services, considering it a co-design and data analysis approach, which enhances digital participation and improves user experience. The judging panel, composed of several specialized experts, praised "the importance of the initiative, considering it an advanced national model for digital community participation based on co-design (Creation-Co), crowdsourcing, and the use of artificial intelligence and the metaverse as interactive channels, reflecting true innovation in the mechanism of involving the community in digital decision-making rather than merely improving an existing service."
