Today, the events of the thirty-third edition of the COMEX Global Technology Exhibition (COMEX2024) concluded, organized by the Arab Research House with the support of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology. The exhibition was held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center over four days, bringing together a selection of government institutions, tech companies, entrepreneurs, innovators, and tech enthusiasts from around the world.

 The exhibition witnessed wide participation from the involved entities, with 33 government institutions, 185 tech companies, and 133 startups, bringing the total number of participating entities to 350. The exhibition attracted more than 80,000 visitors, reflecting the significant interest in the technology and innovation sector.

The COMEX 2024 exhibition contributed to showcasing the latest electronic services, innovations, and digital products offered by government institutions and private companies. The exhibition provided an opportunity to establish partnerships between various entities and showcase the latest achievements in the tech sector, with over 60 agreements signed on the sidelines of the event, amounting to more than 85 million Omani Riyals (equivalent to over 220 million US dollars).

The accompanying events of the exhibition included more than 60 workshops, 5 competitions, and hackathons, in addition to 25 special events in the startup pavilion. The exhibition was also distinguished by the participation of more than 100 speakers, including experts and specialists in the fields of technology and innovation, which added a rich intellectual and cultural dimension to the events.

The COMEX 2024 exhibition achieved its desired goals as a leading marketing and investment platform, contributing to enhancing communication between companies and investors, thereby strengthening the position of the Sultanate of Oman as a regional hub for innovation and technology.

The current edition of the exhibition also witnessed extensive media coverage from more than 30 media outlets, contributing to portraying a bright image of technological and innovative development in the Sultanate of Oman and introducing the various sections of the exhibition and the accompanying events.
