Modernity Forum for the Cybersecurity Industry 2025

As part of the implementation of the National Digital Economy Program and its derived executive programs, and in line with the targets of Oman Vision 2040 to make the digital economy a fundamental pillar of the national economy, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, represented by the National Cybersecurity Center, organized the "Hadatha" Forum for the Cybersecurity Industry, coinciding with the events of COMEX 2025, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Said bin Mohammed Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy.
The forum aims to promote entrepreneurship in the field of cybersecurity, explore investment opportunities in this vital sector, discuss the latest developments and trends in innovation and cyber technologies, and examine ways to support startups and empower national competencies in this field.
The forum witnessed the launch of several national projects and initiatives, the most notable of which are:
- Cybersecurity Industry Monitoring Center: The first of its kind in the world, it focuses on monitoring and analyzing developments in the cybersecurity sector from an economic perspective, and providing studies that support decision-makers in the Sultanate.
- The National Project for Digital Trust Services (Thiqah): which represents a qualitative shift toward secure, reliable, and easily accessible digital government services, and provides a modern and integrated digital identity system.
- Honoring the winners of the Hadatha Initiative for Excellence in the Cybersecurity Industry, a national initiative dedicated to recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals, government entities, companies, and academic institutions in this field.
- Honoring the Omani companies participating in the (CREST CAMP) program to accelerate the maturity of cybersecurity services, which is an international program aimed at enhancing the efficiency of cybersecurity service providers in digitally ambitious countries.
