The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, is participating today in the opening of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 in the capital, Tashkent, marking the Ministry’s first participation in the event.

The Omani delegation includes 10 technology companies showcasing their products and technological solutions to a select group of investors, partners, clients and industry stakeholders from various markets.

The participation aims to enable Omani technology companies to explore new opportunities, open broader avenues for cooperation and partnerships, and gain access to international markets. It also seeks to strengthen the presence of Oman’s technology sector at global technology events and showcase the capabilities and technological solutions offered by Omani companies.

Oman’s participation in the exhibition will continue until 25 September, focusing on enabling Omani technology companies and start-ups to access Central Asian and global markets, enhancing opportunities for digital exports and international expansion, as well as holding business meetings, exploring opportunities for cooperation, concluding partnerships and agreements, and highlighting the competitiveness of Omani technological capabilities and solutions across a number of promising technology fields.

Oman’s participation in ICT Week is among those of 51 countries, with the event bringing together more than 300 organisations and entities from around the world.
