The Sultanate of Oman Hosts the Second Edition of the Middle East Space Conference

The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in the Sultanate of Oman, in cooperation with Novaspace, has announced the organization of the second edition of the Middle East Space Conference, scheduled to take place from 26 to 28 January 2026 in Muscat, under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Dr. Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.


His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, stated that the organization of the second edition builds upon the success achieved by the inaugural edition. The conference is expected to attract more than 450 senior decision-makers, representing over 190 entities from more than 20 countries.

The conference will bring together a distinguished group of government leaders, space agencies, senior executives in the space industry, investors, innovators, and academic institutions, with the aim of contributing to shaping the next phase of growth for the space ecosystem in the Middle East region.


Enhancing Regional and International Cooperation

His Excellency added that by bringing together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors, the conference aims to accelerate cooperation, stimulate investment flows, and support the development of sustainable space capabilities aligned with regional priorities and global market dynamics.


Conference Side Events

Dr. Ali Al Shidhani noted that a dedicated accompanying exhibition will be held alongside the conference, featuring the participation of a number of government entities and local and international private sector companies operating in the space industry.
