The launch of the third batch of "Makeen" camps

The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology launched the third batch of the "Makeen" camps in its second edition, in collaboration with the Programming Academy in Muscat Governorate, with the participation of 40 trainees in the fields of cloud computing and cybersecurity.


These camps aim to build the capabilities of young national talents in advanced digital skills thru intensive training programs that combine theoretical and practical aspects, keeping pace with the latest global technologies in the information technology sector, thereby enhancing employment opportunities and increasing the readiness of national competencies for the labor market. The launch of the third batch comes as a continuation of the successes of the previous Makeen camps, which contributed to qualifying a number of Omani youth and empowering them with digital skills for the future, in line with the trends of digital transformation and supporting the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
