Today, the Govthon service challenge, organized by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, represented by the Unified Government Services Portal, kicked off with the aim of improving the user experience on the portal by developing digital services that focus on the beneficiary to ensure their delivery smoothly, efficiently, and proactively.
The 3-day challenge aims to provide innovative solutions that contribute to simplifying and improving the user journey thru the application of experience design methodologies and prototype testing. It also aims to analyze behavioral data, enhancing the accessibility of the unified government services portal and other digital service channels effectively and smoothly.
This hackathon adopts a participatory design approach with the community to improve the digital user experience, in addition to standardizing the design criteria for government service interfaces, and enhancing consistency among government entities to ensure a unified and accessible digital experience. The challenge also aims to increase the satisfaction rate of beneficiaries of government services, with a focus on community groups with special needs and the elderly, ensuring a comprehensive and beneficiary-centered digital experience, contributing to the improvement of service quality and increasing public trust and satisfaction.
57 participants are taking part in the hackathon, distributed across 12 teams from various segments of society, including the general public, government and private institutions, entrepreneurs, and startup owners. The teams compete in multiple tracks, including enhancing the overall user experience, integrated smart services, developing a comprehensive experience focusing on mobile applications and multiple channels, and smart data and digital trust.
