With the participation of 66 companies.. Launch of the "Numo" program in its third edition

The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology announced today the launch of the "Growth for Tech and Startup Companies" program in its third edition, aimed at supporting emerging tech companies, with the participation of 66 companies at various stages of growth. This step reflects the increasing momentum in the tech sector and digital entrepreneurship, as well as the growing role of specialized programs in accelerating company growth and enhancing their competitiveness. This was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Shaidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, along with several interested parties and specialists.
The program aims to empower tech companies and startups to achieve sustainable growth by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills, stimulating their expansion at both the local and regional levels, and contributing to increasing the percentage of local content in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
The participating companies vary between product-based tech startups and service-based tech companies, at different stages including the seed stage, early growth stage, and accelerated growth stage, in addition to service-based tech companies that provide solutions in the fields of software development, digital infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
The program offers a comprehensive package of services, most notably specialized consultations provided by local and international experts, covering vital areas such as marketing strategies, accelerated growth, technology product development, investment readiness, regulations, and organizational structure building. The program also includes promotional support by providing advertising spaces on multiple platforms, which contributes to enhancing the presence of companies and reaching wider segments of customers.
In the aspect of business development, the program works on enabling companies to access strategic opportunities and partnerships by connecting them with institutions from both the public and private sectors, in addition to providing opportunities to participate in local, regional, and global events, which enhances expansion and growth opportunities.
Joining the program is subject to a number of criteria, including achieving notable growth rates, possessing a technological product or service, having an active user base, as well as having a licensed commercial record and actual market activity.
The activities of the third batch of the "Numo" program came as a confirmation of the ongoing efforts to support the system of innovation and digital entrepreneurship, and to enhance the role of tech and startup companies as a key driver of the digital economy, contributing to the creation of quality opportunities and achieving sustainable economic development.
The number of participants in the program reached 152 tech and startup companies, with 86 companies benefiting from the first and second batches thru 230 consulting hours and 16 specialized workshops. Additionally, more than 40 companies benefited from promotional services and opportunities to participate in over 5 local, regional, and global events.
