The Al Buraimi Governorate continues to enhance its presence on the path of government digital transformation thru a series of qualitative initiatives and projects that have contributed to the development of services, improving institutional performance, and simplifying procedures for beneficiaries, within the framework of the National Program for Government Digital Transformation.
Engineer Tariq bin Hassan Al Mamari, head of the digital transformation team in Al Buraimi Governorate, stated that the number of digitally completed transactions reached 2,805 during the period (January – December 2025). Additionally, 25 new services were digitized, including 16 services for external beneficiaries and 9 services for employes thru the "My Office" system, aiming to enhance the quality of government services and improve institutional efficiency in line with the shift toward a comprehensive digital government.
He added that "Himma" was created as a digital portal for employes with interfaces compatible with the province's identity, and the "Masar" platform was launched to monitor data, indicators, and projects thru a digital dashboard. The first experimental phase of the artificial intelligence project has been completed, and work is underway on the second phase for hosting and integration with some systems.
He pointed out that internal digital systems have been activated to develop attendance and departure services, meeting management, and vehicle booking, in addition to providing "My Office" system services on smart devices to facilitate access for employes and beneficiaries to the services.
He explained that the integration with several platforms has been completed, including the "Tajawob" platform to activate channels for receiving reports and suggestions within a unified system based on participation, interaction, and linkage with national records. The electronic portal of Al Buraimi Governorate has also been developed to enhance the user experience according to the best digital practices, and the "Sat Bot" service has been provided on the governorate's website to expand smart communication with beneficiaries. Additionally, the preparation of digital policies and plans related to data classification and the institutional structure map has been completed, along with the integration with "Mawred Plus" systems and the activation of digital access services for the website and the governorate's digital services portal.
